On Integrated Sensing and Communication Waveforms with Tunable PAPR

We present a novel approach to the problem of dual-functional radar and communication (DFRC) waveform design with adjustable peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), while minimizing multi-user interference maintaining similarity constraint towards chirp signal. The is applicable generic signals for different constellation sizes. formulate as non convex optimization problem. As solution, we adopt alternating direction method multipliers (ADMM), hence iterating stable both purposes. Additionally, prove convergence proposed analyze its computational complexity. Moreover, offer an extended version cope imperfect channel state information (CSI). Finally, demonstrate superior performance through simulations, in comparison state-of-the-art radar-communication designs.
